I got some amazings shots of Stephanie today. We sat out in the backyard and I took some pictures of her. She quite liked it!!

I'm not sure if I like the B&W or colour better. What do you think??

My Beautiful Boy

I got home from Vegas yesterday around 4pm and decided that after the kids piano lessons I would take them out for a photo shoot. I was so inspired by the incredible photography I saw at Memory Trends that I wanted to 'try' to get some good shots of the kids.

I took the kids to Beaver Lake and took pictures of them playing on the tire swing together. I got some really funny shots of them trying to get into the swing together. I think they're a bit big for that now!! Brandon is such a big hearted, sweet boy and I think these pictures capture his personality perfectly. Stephs shots didn't turn out so good so I'm going to try to get some better ones of her after school today. I've got some Pageframe project ideas for Christmas presents and I need some great shots of them.

Vegas was GREAT!!! I have made so many incredibly close friends through scrapbooking and these trade shows are like big reunions for me now. Kim and Sandra Wharton are probably the funniest ladies I've ever met and we laughed SO much this trip!! I almost had to put on a Depends becuase I just about wet myself on more than one occasion. I will upload pictures over the weekend and share more about our trip.

I am feeling extremely lazy today and can't seem to get motivated to do any work. My suitcases are still sitting at the front door and I'm still in my jammies (it's after noon). Tonight we are taking the kids to the Spaghetti Factory for dinner and to the movie "Employee of the Month". We are so happy to all be back together. John said the kids did their homework, practised piano and went to bed without argueing or stalling everynight. Brandon's teeth were pretty grungy when I got back but other than the lack of hygeine their behaviour was AWESOME!! Thanks kids!!

VEGAS (again!)

It's hard to believe that five years ago I had never been to Vegas and it seems like I've been 20 times. It hasn't been that many but I have lost count. I do love Vegas and I'm really looking forward to this trip. I do not have a booth this time, I am spending my time meeting with distributors and manufacturers. Kim and I have lots of big ideas for Pageframes and my goal for this trip is to approach some of my favourite manufacturers and discuss our ideas and hopefully make some plans to work together on our ideas.

I'm leaving on Sunday and will be staying with Amanda the first night. Amanda is launching her new business and I'm so excited for her. Two Peas CALLED HER this week to set up a time to meet with her to view her product line. That is HUGE!! Kim and I will help Amanda set up her booth and then deliver Pageframes to a bunch of manufacturers that have ordered them for their booth display. I am so excited to meet the Epson ladies in person (Katye and Barbara). We have been working together and have a HUGE contest to announce after Memory Trends. (HINT: large format colour printer). I'm so excited!!!

Sandra and Mary arrive on Monday so Kim and I will move over to room with them (in the Venetian) for the rest of the trip. I have never stayed in the Venetian before so I am very excited about that. I am going to try to spend 1/2 day at the pool (shhhhh, don't tell anyone). I've been told that I have to sleep with Kim - ay yi yi!! Wish me luck everyone!! I will be working on my book while in Vegas. It's a work in progress and it's called "Kimisms..... the book". Kim cracks me up, she has the funniest sayings!! I think it's her good ole Texas upbringing. Chapter one is going to be called "Balls to the Walls" and chapter two... "Wadded Panties". I'm sure I'll be adding LOTS of chapters to my book after spending four days (and nights) with her in Vegas. I miss my buddy Sandra SO much and I can't wait to see her!! Sandra is one of the sweetest, funniest ladies I know and I'm not sure how much sleep is going to be had in our room.

Another HUGE event happening in Vegas is Holly's 'Scrapbooker of the Year' Awards Ceremony. I have contacted my ad rep at CK to try to get tickets but I haven't heard back from her yet. I am SO EXCITED for Holly. I have always LOVED Holly's scrapbooking style; just ask anyone who knows me. Good luck my friend!!!

Tomorrow will be a busy day running around doing the last minute things before I leave on Sunday. John is REALLY sick and I hate to leave him when he's sick so I'm going to try to get the house cleaned up and a couple of dinners in the freezer (poor guy!!).

Goodnight!!
