A busy time of year....

I cannot even believe how time is FLYING by!!! I am just shocked that Christmas is only one week away!! So much has been going on lately and my head is spinning!!! Stephanie turned 10 on December 10th so we had a big celebration for her. The kids are ready for a break from school - they are both working so hard and are so excited about Christmas!!! I look forward to this Friday when I can wake them up in the morning and tell them that it's their last day before Christmas break!!!!

The biggest change in my life is that I am EMPLOYED after almost 14 years of being at home with my kids. After I sold POTP I decided that I'd love to get out of the house now and I applied for a job at the JDF Rec Center. Well... I interviewed and got the job!! WOW!!

I love the work and people are great!! I am working at the front desk taking program registrations and generally helping people with information about the center. I work as an auxillary employee which means that I'm called in when they need me. I am not guarenteed any hours but I also have no obligation to accept shifts if I'm not available. So... it is just perfect!! I need a flexible schedule because I go to at least two trade shows each year and I certainly do not want to be working all summer when the kids are home.

Pageframes is going great - our big contest is now posted. We will be accepting applications for Monthly Guest Designer spots very soon!! CHA is coming up very quickly and our DT is producing some amazing work for the booth display. We have a very cool new frame coming out as well. I will post more details once the final prototypes are made.

I hope everyone is enjoying this busy but exciting time of year!!! I'll be working a bit over the Christmas break but will be sure to check in and post periodically!!

Happy Birthday MOM!!

Mom and dad came for dinner last night to celebrate moms birthday!! It was so much fun!! We drank too much wine and ate too much cake but that's what birthdays are for right?? My mom turned 69 yesterday and she looks amazing!! It was a great night!!

Meeting Nathan

I saw my friend Chritine today and her beautiful baby boy, Nathan Alexander Ashbee. I've been telling John tonight that I'm in LOVE!!! (with Nathan that is). Nathan is four months old and definately stole my heart today.

Somedays I'd love to have another baby but then I wonder if it would be fair to Brandon and Stephanie. They will most likely need all of our love an attention as they enter their teenage years. I suppose I might just have to enjoy my friends babies for now and patiently wait for grandchildren.
